Freedom Ruck at the Virginia War Memorial

Victor Wise embarked on his fifth “Freedom Ruck” to support our servicemen and women today at 7:30AM at the Virginia War Memorial. Victor will continue north along Route 1 and finish at Arlington National Cemetery.

Victor, son of a retired First Sergeant and Operation Enduring Freedom veteran, hopes Freedom Ruck will serve as inspiration to the general public to express their gratitude to the military community and their families. Fellow patriots Alex Miller, James Lafferty, Mark Zurat, Wayne Paxton, and Robert Davies are joining Victor for the ruck.

“The goal of Freedom Ruck is to simply say thank you,” says Victor. “We try to lead by example and inspire folks to stand behind these heroes and their families. Our hope is to rally the public.”

Freedom Ruck monetary donations benefit The Navy SEAL Foundation. Over the past four years Freedom Ruck has raised over $30,000 for the Foundation.
