Maurice Jackson

Maurice “Barcodez” Jackson is the vocalist and songwriter for Photosynthesizers, a Richmond band that won In Your Ear’s Battle of the Bands contest and an opportunity to record with the studio in 2012. In addition to touring with Photosynthesizers since that time, Maurice has pursued a solo career. In this issue of Grid, he debuts the OpenBarz column where he interviews local musicians about their creative process.
