Lighthouse Labs Pitch-Off

Lighthouse Labs, one of the 25 top seed accelerators in the United States, hosted a pitch-off last night on Capital One’s West Creek campus. Six high-growth startups shared their ventures to 160+ community members, mentors and advisors.

Over the last four years, Lighthouse Labs has worked with 27 companies that have raised over $9.5 M in financing. Positioned as a mentor-driven accelerator program, Lighthouse connects founders with mentors, investors, support services, working space and startup education to turn ideas into high growth ventures within 3 months. Lighthouse does not take equity in the companies that join each year’s cohort.

This year’s cohort included RoundTrip, an app for non-emergency medical transport; AnswersNow, a support service for parents of children with autism; PYT Funds, a financing service for college senior; MeshImpact, Subjective AI for sales teams; Ivy Oaks Analytics, large-scale solution against ticks, mosquitoes and poison ivy; and Blueswipe, credit card processing for local small businesses.

Richmond Grid will follow the story of each business in this year’s class and report on their progress in our new Startup section of the website.
