Controversy/History – Coordinated Transportation

From electric streetcars to the interstate highway system to the GRTC Pulse, Richmonders have long debated the role of transportation. Join the next Controversy/History event on Tuesday, February 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Valentine to delve into the historical and modern debates surrounding this important issue. The event will begin with a presentation on the historical debate around the development of the interstate highway system, co-hosted by Kelli S. Lemon. A content expert will then provide on-the-ground data about transportation in Richmond today, focusing on the GRTC Pulse. Attendees will take part in group conversations and receive action steps and regional data from The Capital Region Collaborative. RSVP here.
