Farenheit Emerging Media Creates a New Name

Fahrenheit Emerging Media has created a buzz — again. A Richmond-based social media powerhouse, the outfit has rebranded itself and is now Create Digital.

Though the name has changed, this popular digital shop will offer all the same services it once provided as Fahrenheit Emerging Media, yet with a new look and feel. “Create Digital has been something we’ve been working on for the last nine months,” explains Kendall Morris, a partner at the newly revamped company. “We found that our clients and the talent we attracted positioned us more as an agency than a technical consulting organization. For us it was an opportunity to really embrace that creative social space and find a brand that fit. Create Digital allows us to embrace that creative spirit.”

By transforming the brand, says Kendall, the team is now able to zero in on their talents more fully, and celebrate what gives them their edge. “We’re not going to be someone’s complete digital agency. We’re going to focus on what we’re great at doing, and that’s the social media space.”

Morris says that differentiator for Create Digital in a crowded world of social media experts is found in the company’s community management skills, as well as its focus on social metrics that identify how the social space is working for clients.

Ana Kamal, a Senior Digital Advocate, says that the culture of Create Digital also sets it apart from its competitors. For her the internal environment of the organization is essential to the success of what the growing team is able to accomplish.

“Create Digital’s culture is really what makes the difference,” opines Kamal. “We work hard, but we have a lot of fun too.” The Create Digital team, she points out, is committed to collaborating with other technology leaders in Greater Richmond and giving back to the industry.

We’re very lucky,” Morris admits, “Richmond is a community that enables people to be active in a lot of things.” In recent years, Create Digital has worked with Tumblr, VCU Brandcenter, and Social Media Club Richmond. “We seek out these opportunities, and charity work is also really important to us.” She says that Create Digital has supported St. Baldricks, Comfort Zone, Wounded Warriors, and a growing list of local causes. “This is a city where you can do great work that you can be proud of, be inspired. So, for us — it’s really important to cultivate that energy, to help it grow and progress.”
