How to Enjoy the Last Days of the State Fair of Virginia

It’s that time of year again in Richmond, when the air is crisp with just a hint of the Autumn days ahead. And with it brings the return of the sights and sounds of the State Fair of Virginia. But you better hurry, it closes this Sunday, October 6.

Not to worry, there’s still time to cheer on your favorite oinker at the crowd-pleasing pig races, watch the Human Cannonball in awe at the Ultimate Stunt Circus, and sip local beer at the Blue Ribbon Craft Beer Fest with unlimited tastings from over 20 Virginia breweries. Here’s everything you need to know to enjoy the last remaining days of the State Fair of Virginia:

State Fair Hours:

Fridays and Saturdays: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. 
Sundays: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. 
Monday through Thursday: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Ticket Plaza and building hours only; rides will continue to operate for a minimum of one hour after the Ticket Plaza closes, or longer at the discretion of fair management.

State Fair Tickets:

Adult Admission: $15 (Ages 13 and up)
Youth Admission: $12 (Ages 5-12)
Children 4 and Under are free. 
Senior (60+): $12
Military*: $12 (gate only)
Unlimited Ride Wristband: $25

Individual Ride Tickets: $1 each, or $20 for a sheet of 25
