Celebrating Visual Arts Center of Richmond

RVA recently celebrated the Visual Arts Center of Richmond’s 50th anniversary with a Lewis Carroll themed party, “Through the Looking-Glass:

A Very Merry Birthday to VisArts.” The annual Collectors Night Auction is the nonprofit art center’s largest fundraiser of the year. This year’s shindig was the most successful in the history of the organization, exceeding its goal of $155,000. Organizers report that the event will help keep opportunities in the arts accessible to everyone in Greater Richmond. Visual Arts Center of Richmond currently offers over 400 classes, gallery exhibitions, and community outreach programs. The Center offers opportunities for people to express themselves through clay, wood, drawing, writing, and the decorative arts.
