From tossing flaming objects in the air to magic tricks delivered with a hefty dose of humor, Jonathan the Juggler has offered his 24-hour Emergency Juggling Services to RVA for decades.

We asked Jonathan if he’d put down the unicycle and sharp objects long enough to give Grid readers some of his best juggling tips on living life in the River City.

JONATHAN’S JUGGLING TIPS ON LIFE:

  • Always look for the best in everyone.
  • Make time.
  • Never look up when you see a bird.
  • Never ask a barber if you need a haircut.
  • Always look for the humor in everything.
  • If you can’t laugh at yourself, there are a lot of people out there waiting to do it for you.
  • Children first.
